In over sixty years of involvement in social work—as practitioner, supervisor, teacher, consultant, and author—Helen Harris Perlman has become all but a legend. Helen Harris Perlman is the Samuel Deutsch Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus in the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago.
