One of the most critical areas of environmental controls is the regulation and management of hazardous wastes. This book examines the political context in which policy and management decisions in this are are made (state and federal, public and private), discusses implementation of the current policy mandate (the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act), and its financing (the Superfund).
