Ashis Gupta is the publisher of Bayeux Arts. He is the author of three earlier works of fiction, including The Siberian Odyssey of Hans Schroeder, and a poet. In 2007, Ashis edited For New Orleans and Other Poems, a collection of American Poetry, in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

He lives in Calgary, Canada.
