BiblioVault - Privacy Policy
We are an ebook provider. Our goal is for you to read your ebooks. As such we only collect as much information about you as we need to ensure that you are the person who is authorized to use the ebook.
When you "Read Online" with BiblioViewer, we use 3rd party plugins from "Identity Providers" (Google, Facebook, CDC shopping cart) for user authentication. We receive and store an id provided by the 3rd party. If the 3rd party provides your name or email address when we receive that id, we store those for customer support purposes.
When you "Download File" with Adobe DRM, Adobe's systems handle user authentication. Adobe's privacy policy is here. BiblioVault stores an anonymized id for customer support purposes.
When you "Download File" with Readium LCP, we store a passphrase so your LCP-compliant reading app can open your ebook. We store your email address in case you need customer support or additional copies.
We collect general website traffic information so we can monitor and improve our app.
We do not collect any additional information.
We do not process or aggregate your information or use your information for any purpose other than providing your ebook. We do not sell your information.
We use site-specific cookies on your device to provide you with access to your ebook.
You can request deletion of your stored information by emailing bv-help@uchicago.edu.
