In this volume Professor Moore presents a series of Notes supplementary to the text of his two volumes on Judaism published in 1927. Some of the entries consist of emendations of the text; others summarize the views of scholars who differ from the author on various disputed points. The list of “longer notes and discussion” includes such topics as “Great Synagogue,” “Chronology of the Post-Exilic Period,” “Continuity of Normative Judaism,” “Sanhedrin,” “Paul," “Ground of Obligation in Revealed Religion.”
