In this brief volume of the University of Michigan Studies: Humanistic Series, Charles R. Morey takes a detailed look at several items in Charles Freer’s collection of Christian art: two miniatures of St. John Climacus, eight miniatures from a manuscript of the Gospels, and the painted covers of the Washington manuscript of the Gospels.
